Step into my office...

Well, I figured that, in an attempt to start a half-serious blog to establish a portfolio of some sorts for my thoughts, rants, beliefs, opinions, etc. I am going to start blogging. I hope to do one blog a day, obviously focusing on what I think are the most important things of the idea, albeit in sports, wrestling, politics, news in general, things that piss me off, etc. Most of you likely remember the infamous Regal Episodes, which are now defunct due to the offensive nature of them. This is an extension of sorts, with more professionalism. I will try to tackle several topics in a day, but likely will end up having everything revolve around the Mets, the Giants, wrestling, Syracuse, my time at Catholic, or politics. But since I lead an exciting life, I hope you enjoy it.

Introductory thoughts to catch up on the issues of today:
1.) It sucks that Duaner Sanchez went down on the Mets. For those who arent familiar, Sanchez is the set-up man for the Mets and was a crucial part of their bullpen. A 2.60 ERA is unreal for a non-closer middle reliever and his absence is going to hurt like hell. However, Roberto Hernandez was acquired today to soften the blow. Losing Nady hurts, but Chavez and Milledge can platoon and hopefully put up comparable numbers to Nady (who was hitting .264 with 14 HRs and 40 RBIs).

2.) The Middle East sucks. Everyone is at fault. Temporarily, we need to stop having a carte blanche with Israel. The Muslim world's problem with Israel led to problems with the West and particularly the US. We dont need any more trouble for the time being.

3.) I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow and I am none too excited.

4.) I am turning into an old man and cant stay up past midnight. It's 12:24 currently and I can barely keep my eyes open.

5.) Tonight's final topic. I still think David Ortiz is overrated. For a guy that only hits, he's very good. He, probably, is the most valuable player to an American League team. His offensive numbers are mind-boggling. His clutch hits (like tonight) are out of this world. But the guy only plays half the game. People cried that Steve Nash was undeserving of his MVP honours becuase he didnt play great defense. At least he didnt sit on the bench when the other team had the ball.
